I Refuse...

To let the hype ruin my holidays.
To let others' expectations ruin my holidays.
To let others' depression ruin my holidays.

Regardless of whether you're celebrating Christ's birth, Santa bringing toys to the good children, the festival of lights, Joseph and Mary's journey to Bethlehem, or just making it through another year this is a time to celebrate not a time to get bogged down.

So I'm going to pull out of the annual holiday tailspin I always find myself in and finish the year on a cheerful note (or die trying).
