I'm almost done listening to the audiobook version of In A Glass Grimmly by Adam Gidwitz, and I recently started reading Ten by Gretchen McNeil and really like it so far!
What I'm Writing
So, since I decided to readjust my goals again last week, I think I did pretty well (even though, looking back over the week now, I wish I had done better of course, but something better than nothing)! By the time Wednesday rolled around though, I started to seriously lose motivation, but before that, here is what I did manage to accomplish:
Sunday, July 7th
Writing: 875 words
Monday, July 8th
Writing: 381 words
Exercise: DONE!
Tuesday, July 9th
Writing: 350 words
Wednesday, July 10th
Writing: FAIL! (aka 0 words)
Exercise: DONE!
Thursday, July 11
Writing: 407 words
Friday, July 12th
Writing: FAIL!
Exercise: FAIL!
Saturday, July 13th
DAY OFF
Sunday, July 14
Writing: FAIL!
Exercise: DONE!

Now, here are my Ready. Set. Write! goals for this week:Monday, July 15th

Exercise for 20 minutes
Wednesday, July 17th

What Else I've Been Up To
Reading, watching too much paranormal T.V., and trying to decide what classes to take next semester for college.
What Inspires Me Right Now
Paranormal State, Celebrity Ghost Stories, Dark Skies (reminded me that horror movies don't have to be rated R in order to do their job well, aka scare the Hell out of you!), Authors Are Rockstars podcast.
See you next week!

Get on that writing!
You're making great progress! I like making daily goals for myself too. I don't set them too high and then I feel wonderful when I surpass them! I think days off are really important too. That way you feel guilt-free for taking them. :)
Hope you have a great week!
P. S. I extended the link widget on my blog, so feel free to swing by and add your link so others will know you posted. I'll make sure to leave it open a little longer next time.
I know what you mean about losing momentum and how that can throw you off for days. I hope you find a way to regain your passion for your novel, Ella. You can do 250 words--that's a page of writing. As you said, it's better than nothing. I've found nothing rekindles my fire for writing than writing. If I can persuade myself to sit and write for an hour, I'll end up writing longer, and soon be back into it. :)
Have a great week! :)
Way to go on all of your goals! Have a fantastic week!
