Top 10 Highlights of 2009

Well friends, it's almost the end of yet another year, can you believe it? I know I can't! Here's a list of my top 10 highlights from this year:

1. I'm sooo glad Aaron and I started this blog, now I don't know what I'd do without it, or you guys! Thanks so much for reading for following, and for commenting on all of our crazy randomness, I don't know what we'd do without you guys, our readers, you guys rock and you make this blogging thing that much more enjoyable! See you in 2010! :)

2. I've met so many awesome authors, bloggers and other aspiring writers such as myself

3. I've realized that I can do things without help, such as completing my first semester of my sophomore year of college all by myself!

4. It's been a great year and four months with my service dog Ginger. She brought sunshine and laughter back into my life at a time when I never thought I'd be happy or whole again, and, most importantly, she taught me how to love again, and for that I am truly grateful. I love you, girl.

5. It's been a great few weeks with new addition in our family: A KITTEN! Who my dad brought home totally out of the blue a few days before Christmas. She's 6 weeks old, black and white and named Bella (after Bella Swan from Twilight!) She's the cutest most lovable thing in the world...and she's succeeded in turning me into a nervous wreck :P

6. I've discovered some great T.V. shows: Friday Night Lights, Glee, and Vampire Diaries! It's definitely been a great year for T.V.!

7. Watched some great movies: New Moon, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Lost in Austen, and Kieth

8, Read some amazing books: Legacy by Cayla Kluver, The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting, Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, and The Dark Divine by Bree Despain, which I'm still reading and loving by the way! :)) Thanks again so much for the ARCs guys, I really appreciate it! :)

9. I interviewed some amazing authors: Cayla Kluver, Kimberly Derting, Becca Fitzpatrick, Bree Despain, and many more! Thanks again for the interviews guys, they were so much fun to conduct! :D

10, I grew as a writer: I didn't finish any projects unfortunately, but things like competing in this year's NaNoWriMo, taking a college Psychology course, expanding what I read and what I wrote taught me what I don't like writing about, what I do like writing about, patience, determination, and overall, how to have fun (I'm still working on this one, but so far so good! :))

So, what were your highlights of 2009?

It seems like you had a full year personally and professionally. I hope you get the same or better in 2010.
