Friday Five

1. I have writer’s block, and it is not fun!

2. B-rated scifi moves are great for inspiration. They have decent starting points, but there is also tons of room to take the concept and run with it in a much better direction. The only problem is that I’m not writing a science fiction book right now, so that inspiration is not helping!

3. In an attempt to understand why people enjoy shopping I’ve started reading “Just Try It On,” and although I’ve discovered that shopping is really much more complex than I thought it was I still have no desire to do it.

4. There are no simple manuals for making your own jewelry.

5. Hummus is a truly great snack.

Shopping hurts my soul. I don't like the "try it on method"...I'm fairly certain it wounds both my ego and my psyche. That said, online shopping is excellent :)

It depends on the kind of shopping: If I'm shopping for clothes, ewww! But if I'm shopping for books...Good luck getting me to leave the store empty handed! This kind of shopping is pure BLISS! :D <3

Yes! And it (hummus) tastes good on just about anything.

Writer's block isn't fun. For me, I have the ideas but my mind and fingers stagnate when it comes to typing.

Hummus is amazing.

My problem is that even though I know exactly how it's going to end I'm so nervous about finishing it that I just can't seem to make myself sit down and do it.
